If you search on the Pelican 911 board, you'll see that it has occasionally been done in the past. Realistically, there's probably not much of a claim to make as these cars aren't worth a whole lot and your car wasn't a low mileage garage queen. The good news is that if minor damage is properly repaired, no one will ever know. I've been working with a fellow near Reading, PA who's almost done rehabing my quarterpanel (take a look at the pics that I posted the other day). I'll let you know how it comes out and I'm happy to give you his info if you're interested.
