one of two that he had. I bought it off ebay for 67 shipped. Took about an hour to install including figuring out how to get the top board off which was sort of a PITA.

I drive my cars hard. I also take very good care of them and have them serviced regularly. I have spent over 25,000 on my Porsche since I bought it, including a complete rebuild of the engine, tons of suspension work, aftermarket clutch, etc. etc. etc.

My M3 is in top shape. If I spent a little more time on it it would be a concourse car at 77K.

My Range Rover is getting the worst of it all, we run it to our property in Corova in the OBX of NC which is a 4wd area and it gets pretty fun driving back there on some of the trails. But the Range is holding up where I need it to.

Oh, BTW, the 944S was in good shape when I bought it, I spun a rod bearing when I accidently launched the car over rail road tracks on an unfamiliar road. Bearing got starved for oil and that was it. Clunk clunk clunk was the next sound.

So I dunno man, WOULD you not want to have me be the PO of a car you owned with the care and money I put into my cars? Just because I drive them hard does not mean that I abuse them. Spinning the tires in the 944S was done merely to test how much TQ it was laying down with the new chip in it. I also did some launches and ran some corners at high speed to see how the engine reacted when I downshifted to enter the turn. Flawlessly I might add. ( the engine not my cornering!).

The car regularly sits and is driven on the weekends now that the M3 has become my DD.

Don't hate because you dont know how to drive your car, or can't afford to.

Nuff' said.

I have a Europroducts chip, and am happy with it. It is not the best, however, someday I'll swtich to a 944SMAX. But it does make a difference ...alot smoother than stock through the rev range, and more high end horsepower.
