Exclamation talk about a scam!

Barr Frank Azuka.
30 Odo street Obalende
Lagos, Nigeria.
Alternative Email: frankazuka1@yahoo.com

I am Sir Frank Azuka (Esq),a Solicitor, I am the
Personal Attorney to Mr.Mark camp , who was
an oil merchant in Nigeria. My client, his wife and their two children
were involved in a car accident along Sagbama Express Road, here in
Nigeria and all
occupants of the vehicle unfortunately lost their lives.
Since then I have made several inquiries to locate any of my clients
extended relatives, this has proven unsuccessful. After these several
unsuccessful attempts, I decided to trace his relatives over the
Internet, but of no avail, hence I mandated my
secretary to search for any possible relative of my late clients in the
Internet before the bank get the account confiscated or declared
unserviceable, particularly, where the deceased had an account valued at
about US$12.6m (Twelve Point Six
Million United States Dollars).
The bank has issued me an ultimatum notice to provide the next of kin
or have the account confiscated within the next 21 working days. I then
decided to present you as the next of kin of the deceased since my
client is from the same country with you and his middle name is similar to
yours , The said amount will be paid to you if you comply immediately
and with all the necessary documents of the deceased in my possession it
will be very easy and convient.
Immediately the money is paid to you, 55% of the total amount will be
for me, 40% for you, while the remaining 5% should be for miscalleneous
expenses or tax as your government may require, I have all the
necessary legal documents that can be used to back up any claim we may make,All
I require is your honest cooperation to enable us see this transaction
through.
I guarantee that this will be executed under a
legitimate arrangement that will protect you from any breach of the
law, Please, you are advised to reply immediately through my alternative
direct e-mail
address stated as quote: frank_azuka1@hotmail.com
I await your prompt response!
Best regards,

Sir Frank Azuka (Esq).

You'd think someone would know the basics of grammar before trying to write a letter of such magnitude.

UDPride's 29th Axiom of Automated Spam and Scam:

"Where normal interrogation begins, the degree at which an unsuspecting receipient of unsolicited email advertising starts to question the validity of the product is inversely proportional to the number of teeth the interrogator has in his mouth. As the number of teeth rise, the threat diminishes. The variance, described as a wavelength, indicates a significant trough at or near the value of the lowest common denominator; in this case, no teeth. See also, the Space Age Theorem."

The Space Age Theorem: "The older one gets, the less teeth they have and the dumber one becomes, up to a point in time where the speed at which relative dumbness approaches the speed of light. At the speed of light, the medical term "moron" shall apply and it shall be assumed that relative dumbness has entered a wormhole; a stream of consciousness unrecoverable by all known scientific variables. See also, the Mandibular Aging Reflex."

The Mandibular Aging Reflex clearly states: "As one acquires their adult teeth, one inherits more cognitive thinking skills, up to a point in time when those teeth begin to decay and fall out. Whereas the 29th Axiom of Automated Spam and Scam defines the number of teeth relative to the degree of critical thinking skills, and the Space Age Theorem clarifies the rate of tooth loss at the rate of brain loss, the Mandibular Aging Reflex accounts for those first 35 years of natural brain growth where some random electrical charges in the brain may occur. Factors such as low birth weight may inflate or deflate the degree at which the reflex occurs. Country line dancing and a boxed set of Gilligan's Island may also prove to be corroborating evidence that the Mandibular Aging Reflex has terminated prematurely."

sometimes bad grammar in a spam is just an elaborate way to get around spam filters. like the razor database, for instance. if you're listed in razor, then nonsense grammar is a good way to get your spam through the filter to the inbox.

UDPride, I guess from your eloquent post you still have all your own teeth

Me, I used to have too many - never fallen for spam, or line danced for that matter...

There is a great one by Bib Fortuna about how with Jabba being dead he needs help in getting his space credits into a legitamate business.....dang it....my copy of that is at work. It's quite an amusing one.

I do enjoy the many websites where people respond and waste the time of these scammers by pretending to do all kinds of crazy things to them. Very funny stuff.....

LMAO got something like that to help invest some guy cause he had a product that would make millions lol If he had that why would you need me. There are a lot of companies that would invest but since it's a scam can't get an investment from a company. You should email the guy and ask what he needs then wait for the reply then email him in 22 days after the money is taken over by the bank/government and tell him that you are going to set this up and where you send the information. Sometimes it's fun to play along

Check out this website where this person responds to these scammers and strings them along. Some of the stories are very funny. He tells them he wants to know they are serious and they should send him a picture of themselves to his specifications so that he knows it's them. Check out the pics of the scammers with wine bottles in their ears or loaves of bread on their heads! It's great stuff.

Recently I've seen several similar websites, do a search on 419 scams. It's become a bit of a sport.

Theres a fair few people that do fall for these. One guy a Harvard professor that ripped off people for AIDS SARS funding and sent it to these people.

Another was a legal secretary that embezzeled millions out of her law firm.

In my opinion, if your stupid enough to fall for this, you deserve getting fleeced.

Its kinda like the one where you "sell" your car for the asking price plus $10K. They send you a check, asking for your check in the amount of $10K due to some legislative BS or whatever makes it sound "good".

You deposit the check, wait 10 days (as the buyer insists to make sure his check "clears") mail them your check. Which they then cash. Your bank by know gets the "draft" returned because the bank they "drafted" it from doesn't exist, you are now out the car plus 10K.

If I had 12.6 millions on a bank account I sure as hell wouldn't use a hotmail account.
