It's worth whatever you and the owner can agree on. If it's a really cherry 83, then I'd put it in the 5k range, if you get much higher than that, you could go looking for a decent 951. I'd also say the accident thing should be reviewed on a case by case basis. If all that was done was to replace a fender and color match by a good shop, why should that be a major issue? If the damage was repaired by an Earl Scheib special, then I'd say be very careful of the car because if the owner was that cheap there, where else did the PO cut corners, timing belt comes to mind here. Good luck, there are some good cars out there.

your 83 $7000

my 84
+ 100 for year
-700 for miles
-200 leather
-900 clutch (unsure)
+50 radio
-500 dashcracks
-250 body
-350 brake master cylinder (leaks)
-500 other

= $ 3750 = € 3125,- = a tad bit more than I paid in November, but the car is getting better all the time

I don't think is really that simple.
I have and 84 944 that now has 78k on it. It is very nice original pristine car. extremely clean with 16" fuchs. Car won just about every PCA show entered. Probably the best 944 in the state and top 100 or in the country.

Value... We cannot be determined by numbers alone. I'd take no less the $6500 for it and really think it work much more (that is one reason I'd never sell it). I do honeslty think some one would pay $6500 for this car because it such a gem.
