I had grand plans for all the little things I was planning on doing to the 944 this winter.
-brakes and rotors all the way around
-shocks and struts
-new belly pan and front chin spoiler
But alas, in the cold midwest winter, the car sits in the garage. gets started and allowed to run up to temp every month or so, and a monthly batter charge. I just have not had the time I thought I would have to work on it.
I think it also hurts me that I know the car is a solid driver now and doesn't "need" anything, so my motivation is lacking.
How is everyone else winter going with their 9's (28 and 44)

Mine went off to storage in November, and I won't see it again for another two months. Northeast winters suck!
Even if I had it in the garage, its just too cold to get anything accomplished out there. If I invested in a good heater I might be able to take care of most of the things on my to-do list, but still wouldn't be able to take it for a test drive.
Fingers crossed for an early spring...

All my cars are all the way across the country. Work out OK because I have absolutely no space in the new garage right now but, like OP, I'm feeling a little guilty about losing time on things I know have to get done. Unlike OP, all my cars require a good bit of work to get to solid, daily driver level.

about to take the engine apart on the weekend for a rebuild. Car sat for a while after engine fire at Mosport.
btw I recommend letting the car sit and not starting if you are not driving her. better to let her rest.

I dont want the lifters to get drained. Can't deal with that noise again.
