Reps? where SHOULD you have been?

Anyway, back to the main point. Dude, I'm glad you're alright. It's most important that you're all right despite your tragedy. I know that if some mother f*cker were to hit me in my 924S, I'd be fumin pissed, and probably beat the sh*t outa them before they could load me into the ambulance.

Another beauty gone. It's really sad. And what a gorgeous 951 she was.

and think of it like this! your hatch now looks like mine!

As long as you're OK, the car can be (almost) replaced.

Man all the cars I have see the doors are straight and most times the glass is still intacted. Something nice to know about a car if that day ever happens that you will most likely be without any major injuries.

Will you be parting out the car or taking the insurance money and running?

I'd part out the car if I was you.

if you're up for another 951 - and we KNOW you are (!) - keep checking in panorama. i'm always surprised at the quality of 951s in there. you know that if they are being advertised in pano, they are probably pretty well taken care of. i just threw out the latest pano, but i think there were a couple of reallly sweet low(er) mile 88/89 951s in there.....play the sympathy card with your wife while your back still hurts!!!

i, too, was rear-ended when i lived in atlanta. in my 951. wasn't totalled, but i sold it right away as i didn't want to mess with the hassle of getting it fixed. i DID total my 73 914 1.7 in atlanta as well. (my first car - had it for 11 years) neither accident my fault, but i'm starting to see that the ATL has been hard on porsches!!!

glad you made it through ok, now have fun pondering the next set of wheels - pcar or not.

You're lucky our seat backs are so high, or you could have been seriously injured.

Not that you weren't or course. Talk to a lawyer who specializes in this kind of accident asap, you could very well have injuries that will affect you for the rest of your life. And don't discuss your injuries here, what you say might be used against you in court later on.

More legal advice from the non-lawyer!

Damn, sorry to hear about your accident. Pray you get better soon.
I rear-ended a Camaro back in December and drove away from it with a dent in the panel between the headlights and a collapsed RF bumper shock. Felt bad that I hit the other guy, but no injuries, thank God.

If you do decide to part out the car, let me know what kind of shape the rear valence is in - I've been wanting to get one and I think we have the same color.
