Hi again Lisa,
Sorry, ast post was a slipped digit.

If I were you, I would definitely check further into the blue '89 on Ebay. It is a newer model, has really low mileage, has the interior color you like (plus leather), has a really cool exterior color, is being sold by some pretty reliable guys, and has some maintenance. Call them and talk, you could learn a lot & get a feel for the transaction. Still get a PPI & maintenance records & all that stuff that these Rennlisters recommended.
I recently bought a 944 on Ebay & couldn't be happier. Check out http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...E:B:EOAB:US:6. Transaction went smooth, car checked out OK.
Don't be wary or put off by Ebay, it's just like everything else, some good, some bad. Contact the sellers & talk. If the vibes are good, go forward, if not........back away. Also, sometimes a really great car comes up, you procrastinate, and it's gone. Do it your own way, you'll enjoy the experience more.

Lot's of luck

Hey Julie,
Glad you like it. I did everything wrong when I bought it. Didn't study doodlely about 944's, didn't get a PPI, didn't see it. Just went on karma.

Car had 3 lady owners, all service records since new, new tires, belts & chains been changed twice already, and really clean. Folks I bought it from were straight up. Easy transaction.

That's why I recommended Lisa to call those guys in Ohio. They have a web site and run a permanent business. Seem to know about cars. Sometimes a car comes up with your name on it and you need to act. Ya got to trust your feelings on this sometimes (assuming of course that you are in harmony enough to know whats what). If the vibes ain't right, you'll know it.

Love your picture. I've read lots of your threads & you seem cool. Is the car OK? Is you OK?

Got to go.

Chip, thanks! Yes, I'm doing much better, but Kijo still has a few bugs in her, ie, gotta obtain another Master Clutch cylinder. And from what I've seen, better do to the slave while I'm at it!
