Hey Lisa, welcome to rennlist.

That's Darcy's 968. Never seen it myself but Rich tells us that it's an incredible machine.

Like everyone else says, do the ppi/maintenence records/ect. I did the mistake of buying mine without doing that back in '96. But after what is said and done, it's all good. Although with my new passion, I just bought a '03 Yamaha R6, my 944 is getting $till get$ most of budget.

I do not think the wdie fenders on the yellow 968 were on the factory turbos.

Is that one turbo charged or just for posing?

This is a real one

I think it's around 500 or 600hp. Definitely not a poser.

Wow, that is a lot of power for a 968 turbo. I had the pleasure of riding in Dan DeGrunchy's PowerHaus 968 Turbo conversion it has something around 450HP/490TQ and is an incredible ride.

Yeah, that is me in the middle, my red car, and DJ's MoTec 968. It's a 3.0L 16 valve HUGE turbo with all kinds of goodies. The two of us booted from Vancouver to the Okanagan last year after helping K27 when he shmucked his black 86 951. (from which many parts have gone to my car..) It honestly felt like that thing was spinning it's 315 rear tyres in 5th gear. no kidding. I don't think it's as poweful as the owner says but I've never been in anything as fast before.

I just looked up the Excellence article on that car.
479hp,550ft.lbs torque at 1.1 bar with 110 octane. Built by Kelly Moss Racing.

Yeah I have the excellence article but I was told that the engine was dyno'ed by KMR at MUCH higher numbers, as well. So maybe it's been de-tuned for reliability.

FYI - if you want closer photos of the MoTec or it's engine bay, you can click "rennlist - my galleries" button below, and go to the Osooyoos photo album near the bottom. I have lots of photos there.

Question Hmmm...too good to be true?

So, "starsinhereyes", hey, isn't that exactly what men want to hear from a girl? A soft name like that? Sounds too good to be true...to be really a girl.

At the risk of being an ***, Lisa are you really a girl, or a GUY milking these guys along?

Most girls attending Nursing school are too busy studying and BROKE to be thinking of an older, needing work, Sports car! What time do you HAVE to be doing this with?

HELLO!!! HOW MANY WOMEN WORK ON THEIR OWN CARS!? How much time would you have!? NONE!

I do an awful lot of work on my car, but it's with help! Tell me, "Lisa" have you ever swung a wrench?

These guys are my friends, and have been fooled before; I'm calling you TO THE CARPET! :NONO:

Arrow Godfather rides again!?

No, Harry, lol! It's because of the past, of that guy, Godfather, pretending to be a girl, and wrapping these guys around HIS finger!

I am just being protective of my friends.

I get enough attention on my own, thank you very much!

There's plenty of guys to go around, between other girls and me...but I'm only willing to share if she's REALLY a she, and NOT a wanna be!
