Default 1986 944 Turbo Phone Dials (early offset)

Does anyone know the market value of these nowadays? They seem so rare I can't even find them for sale. I am talking about the early offset turbo phone dials that came stock with the 1986 944 turbo. What if they are nowhere near perfect condition as they were used normally for almost 35 years, but are pretty good, not painted over or refurbished. Two 7 x16", two 8 x 16".

This is the forum where we all congregate, so I am posting this here.
Thank you!

Nice looking wheels! I have 4 of the 7X16's,but I understand that the 8X16's are made of unobtanium. at least for my wallet. Do you have the center caps too? Just wondering.

Thank you for your reply. I am at a loss to price them.

Yes I have the center caps.
I'm not sure of the gravity of my mistake but I painted them. They can most likely be refurbished as needed. I do not recommend any non-professional paint center caps like this themselves, or one may suffer the same fate!

Over the past year or so, I have seen these ranging from $750 to $1400 depending on the shape (the upper end for freshly refinished). I picked up a decent set last year for $750 shipped (rims with no tires).

I am missing one black center cap for my wheels...would you part with one? Be glad to pay for it..Mine are painted just like that as well...Was this a factory option? The red bars in mine look as though they were copper enameled,or at least, have extremely heavy red paint. PM me if interested. Thanks in advance..

With old or no tires, I’d say $550-$800.

Tires stored inside, out of the sun and the weather, but manufactured May/June 2015.

Tire shops are allowed to sell properly stored tires up to 3 years old as "new", and in our odd sizes your chances of getting a tire that spent at least 2 years on the shelf are pretty high. So these are effectively no worse than 3 to 4 year-old tires.

I purchased the 86 turbo size phone dials in 1987 (about 1 year after purchasing my 944 na new). Paid around $500 for the 4. I repainted them in 2013 with the Wurth silver paint. Came out nice and today still look good. I always purchase my tires from Tire Rack and never had an issue buying dated tires. I always liked the look of the 16" rims vs the standard 15". Gives the car a better look. In my opinion........
