Default New House Pics

Kind of excited, this is the first house we have bought. For those of you in the Chicago area the house is in Plainfield. Once we settle in (mid-May) we will have a big GTG at the house.

Congratualtions Matt.

Very nice house. It's a big sucker too. Where I live in Southern California that house would be probably $800,000...and it wouldn't be on a lot anywhere near the size that one looks like.

Anyway, now the fun part...turning it from a house to a home! Black and white checkerboard floor in the garage, wall-to-wall tools, big screen TV in there!! Ah...the American Dream!

Congrats!

My husband and I just bought this little place a few months ago. Isn't it great having a place to call your own?

Riff - thanks, you are welcome to stop by when you are in town.

Jeremy - I have no clue what is under there, it was snowing when we looked and too cold to check.

Dan - that house about 35 miles from there would have been 800K too, that is why I am so far from my office. It is just as expensive here, in Texas it would have been like 140K or less! As to the big screen, already have one. Have to tile (or something) the garage and put the tool boxes in.

Conor/ljd - Thanks, I appreciate it.

Slinky - yes it is very nice. We are renting and the place we are renting is not anywhere near this nice.

Congratulations Matt!

Gotta love having your own garage.

Looks like a good backyard for the puppies to play in too.

Brian - thanks, you know you are welcome to bring Beckster and time and stop by, door is always open.

Alex - thanks

Scott - It is a lot of fun, too bad the seller is not more motivated, you would think they would be. Then again in this market they dont have to be.
