Whats an S3?

It's a 944 with a 968 motor crammed in it. The 968 was originally supposed to be a 944 S3.

No, the 968 has variocam and some extra power. The 968 (including all of the visual updates) was to be called the S3.

Matt put the 968 engine into an 89 2.7L NA.

Its been one heck of a project.....Loved doing the work. It really was not half as bad as we thought it was going to be. Given a detailed parts list, and we HAD all of those parts, we could of had the motor in and running in a little less than a day. Can't wait to hear the motor breathe for the first time!!!

I would do it again it a heart beat!!

If anyone was wondering 1screaminZ is my good friend Eric who is helping me do all the work -- couldn't do it with out ya bud! He went from never touching a Porsche engine to helping do one of the best conversions for a 944!

Turby -- sorry man. BTW, I had to order the fuel line from Porsche, and have to wait for it to come in from Germany. NO ONE had anything like what I needed. Call every number I could find on the internet and elsewhere. No such luck.
