damn hacker, you're really tempting me. i thought that first post was for real. what do you want for it? not that i should purchase anything - my suspension is all new and the engine's being rebuilt now, but i could really use a rebuilt head with all new valve springs. and a centerforce clutch. where did you get that?

Not valve springs, new exhaust valve guides.
Centerforce was purchased someplace in Arizona, can't remember the name. The clutch was installed in 98, but I didn't drive it much after that install. It was my daily driver from 96-97, after that it was a weekend only vehicle. I've put 20,000 miles on the car since April of 1996.
What do I want for it? Dunno, haven't really thought about it since I figured any price I would accpet would be on the high side. I don't need to sell it, but a good offer is hard to pass up for anything. I've got so much time into this car, it's so close to being back on the road, it's a hard decision.
I've got about $2,500 into the head that has a few hundred miles on it.
The brakes, suspension was installed the same time as the head.
So I'm sitting on almost $4,000 in parts I've almost never used. I never thought I would get my money back with the car, but I don't exactly want to flush it down the toilet either.

I am happy to report the engine is torn down in my basement, off to get cleaned this week, then shipped off to Swain Technologies for some coatings.
Should be back on the road by spring.
This is not another April 1st prank.
