Having trouble with the seller of a 951 in OHIO

My advice at this point is to call the police local to him and report it. Even if the police consider it a civil matter, I'd think they should be willing to take a report. However this works out, filing the report should be beneficial to you.
I consider a deposit to be an amount that is high enough for the seller to hold a car, and low enough for the buyer to walk away from (even if it's refundable). $250 to $500 should work for most used cars priced under $25000.

Well, I really hope that it all works out for you. I am in Akron and have a friend that lives down there, still finding a good weekend to come down so if we have to have a group meeting down there just let me know. I just HATE to see someone like yourself to put his life on line for this country then to come back and have a piece of "crap" do this to you. I will keep checking up on here to make sure it all works out, best of luck!

Going to try plan A which is have someone set up a meeting to look at his 951 for sale then call me and hand the phone over. Like It was stated earlier. I hope this is a case of him being very busy but I doubt it.

Thanks for the heads up on this guys.
Yes, all legal means should be exhausted first as I would hate to see anyone get in trouble for this. And it looks like the evidence/case is pretty cut and dried.
But after they have been exhausted, please, I would want to be the one who first knocks on his door.

There's a 944 get together at Dave and Busters in Cinci. on the first tuesday of every month starting in april. I think if people were planning on getting together, that might be a good group to assist in resolving this all peacefully.

On the fraudulence, I too have gone through the State Attourney General to get money back for a lsd that never panned out and it does work. IMPO that is the way to go, though if you want to head on over on the 6th, I think it would be fun to make the guy wet himself...

If you didn't get a receipt stating your conditions, it will be tough to get it back imo. People often say they have another buyer to try to get you to commit.
Good luck!

message delivery turned into RECON mission. Frank is home and when I called he picked up and hung up on me. The recon discovered shady things. NO vin on the window of the car. He offered to sell another parts car get this he offered two prices, with title price and a without title price... I am now going to email with a threat of law enforcement involvement and see if that gets any response.
