Default Where does this vaccum line go???

I've got the rest of the lines hooked up, but as far as I can tell this one doesn't go anywhere (I'm sure that's incorrect, obviously). The only problem is, the 968 schematics don't show this part, it only shows the valve (top of picture).

What is this part and where does this vaccum line go to on the 944, and more specifically where does it go on the 968?

Thanks,
Matt

Are you able to snap a quick picture? The 968 is different and I don't recall seeing that slot on the schematics or on the actual intake.

Thanks,
Matt

This on my 951, but does a 968 not have a banjo bolt on the intake ?

I would think as long as it is connected to vacuum it will be fine.

Unfortunately I am not near the car. I just got back from Raleigh where the car is and I don't have it in front of me to look at. Maybe a 968 Rennlister can help?

Doesn't that go to the little valve under the intake manifod that opens at a specific temp for emissions?

The line runs to the thermovalve on the 951, and then from the thermo valve to the throttle body. Thermovalve has two nipples, located under the rear part of the intake.

That fitting should tie into the same line that goes to the Fuel Pressure Regulator and the Fuel Pressure Damper.

Yea, it kind of looks like the one that either turns and plugs into the dampener or the regulator - might be either.

Well.... the 968 fuel rail is different. I'll figure it out, thought maybe it was something easy.

I can probably use one of the "Y" connectors to splice it into the intake.
