Default Another Turbo charging a NA question

For those of you who are going to flame this post with just buy a Turbo Bite me and move one. already own one.
I did a search but everyone comes up with 20 pages of You a-holes and your snide comments with little information so please spear me and the rest of the people who come here looking for information your righteous BS.
If you have never done it and all you have so say is don't this post isn't for you
It's been done
http://roguetuning.com/944na_internals_-_the_limit
Looking to turbocharge My 86 na I have a fully functioning and running 88 turbo My plan is to swap the top end and the exhaust, intercooler, cooling system, knock sensor driver side engine mount
over to the NA.
I plan on using bigger injectors the system will be controlled by a megasquirt3 pro just need a trigger wheel.
My question is can I bolt a S2 flywheel to the NA motor and use the na bell housing?
If so what else will I need?

Yes you can use an S2 flywheel on an na motor though I would use an S2 bellhousing also. That’s the way I did it for my TechGT setup so I know that works whereas I’m not certain that the na bellhousing is the same. Btw the turbo bellhousing is different to the na at the starter mount. The other thing you will need is a clutch that can handle the extra power of a turbo as the na/S2 clutch is smaller than a turbo clutch.

What disk and pressure plate did you use ate? will a turbo disk n pressure plate bolt to the S2 flywheel?
Will the turbo trans bolt to the na torque tube?

I used a stock na clutch as this was on an na. I only used the S2 flywheel and bellhousing so I could use the 60-2 trigger for my TechGT standalone. This is a track car.

A turbo clutch disk is too big to fit on an S2 flywheel, like I said you would have to look for another solution like maybe the Spec push type offered by Lindsey Racing for the S2, that should do the job of handling turbo power.

Turbo trans will bolt to an na torque tube, the tubes are identical.

I would only consider supercharging my NA because I like to have a sharp throttle response in all my cars.
Hope someone comes up with a reliable bundle.

I honestly think these cars would benefit car more from using ITB than forced induction.

No, it isn't wrecked runs and drives just a large paperweight at this time bought it from someone, bought it from someone, who bought it at a police impound auction
theft recovery couldn't get it to run clogged injectors and cut wire behind the ignition switch to the DME. Well, I lost some of the paperwork waiting on the DMV to open up
and without it, I can't register the car.

88 turbo

86 na

Well I figure with increased compression managed but a newer faster ECU I can have the sharp throttle response and the power at the mid to top end

you can buy a TTV brand flywheel that is 951-sized but has a 60-2 trigger wheel machined onto it, IIRC they are around $800 ?

though, if i were you, i would look at a Spec/Lindsey push-type clutch regardless of power output since the pull-type parts are failing and getting harder to replace.

found a stock S2 flywheel for $90 or a bell housing clutch and flywheel assy for $300 I already spent $5k on a car I can't drive on the street or sell

You're in California? I am too. The DMV has been open. I'm in a similair position with my '87 924S. I made the mistake of underestimating how difficult it would be to get my out-of-state car registered, after it had been donated to a charity in the state it was from, with the title stamped 'For Parts Only'. To the California DMV's credit, they have charted a path that will allow me to title and register it, but it's been several months after I submitted inspection paperwork from a Brake and Lamp Inspection, a CHP inspection, and a smog check. For the first two I had to get it towed to and from each time, which was over 1k in towing fees. If I had to do it over, I'd have dumped the time and money into my '84 944, which is good as far as paperwork, but purchased in non-running condition, and presently torn apart. I'd have had it running by now...
