I just posted an almost identical thread on hte 968 board, as I was really wanting to see some of the REALLY uniuqe colors that were offered for the 968 interiors, BUT, there were ALSO some very unique 944 interiors too....

I would REALLY like to see some good interior pics like door panels, dash, rear areas, etc- there are far more options available, according to the PET Files, for door panels than I think most people could ever imagine- For BOTH 85.5 & later 944s & 968s, there are multiple styles in; leatherette, leatherette Porsche script cloth, leatherette multi-color, Leatherette pin stripe velour, & real leather- there were various colors offered for EACH one of these- they had a bunch of dif options & the 968 had some really unique ones- I would LOVE to see a few pics of the cloth panels w/Porsche script &/or the pin stripe velour ones,. etc- anyone have a car w/ANY of these? If you have a car w/a really unique interior- or, pretty much anything but all black I guess, although good pics of even a nice all-black interior would be welcome- now would be a great time to take some pics- I've been collecting Porsche pics since I got a computer- ~3.5yrs ago- this was ~1yr after I bought my car- I would really like to fill a few folders up w/some really uniqe ones, like the cloth ones, w/Porsche script on door panles, etc...

ALSO- does anyone know "MULTI COLOR" means for the door panles, exactly? I know that many cars had what some call "deviating." like black w/linen- the top of the dash was black & the underside, w/glove box door, console, etc, were linen- the upper section of the door panel (the top strip)was black while the rest of it was linen. The PET files list black, black/linen, blue, blue/linen, classic grey, burgundy, cobalt blue, etc, for the 944's, BUT, the 968 has a BUNCH of dif ones listed, except they DON'T list LINEN for ANY year- was LINEN NOT offered for ANY of the 968's? They DO list "LIGHT GREY" but I'm pretty sure this is a dif color entirely- anyone? The 944's DO list white several times in the multi-color panel options- not sure how it differs from linen, unless it's a real white white- the linen seemed to be slightly off- anyway....

SO- if anyone here has any good interior pics, I would love to see them...

I haven't been recieving my notices for this thread- I'm glad I just remembered it & decided to hunt for it.... Thanks a lot guys....

S2- you must have a TON of pics- I love the cobalt- the red reminds me of some of the 80's 911's tested in magazines- silver ext w/RED interior- ALL Red though, like the burgundy 944 int- NO black dash, etc- ALL red... The Turbo S- is that the ORIGINAL Turbo S burgundy plaid interior? I've got a few small pics of it, but, that looks a little light- I say that b/c there are several plaid interiors in Europe & SOME of them were VERY CLOSE to the burgundy plaid, only lighter- is that one of them, OR, the true burg/plaid? I would love to browse through all of your pics some day- would porobably take a few hours...

MTM- that's probably my most preferred interior color- you have the deviating Linen/black interior- NICE! Also cool are the cloth Porsche script seats! COOL!

Yeah, that is original. There is a few plaid designs out there. I have pinstripes too, on 924 interiors and they were available on the early 944s i think. The Pasha cloth is the black/white checkerboard interior. Very blinding and rediculous, but it screams classic! Only Porsche can pull it off.

i LOVE the pasha interiors, next week i'm on spring break, and a guy that works at the local p-wrench has a euro 78 928 5-spd (i drove, cool car) that has that interior... i'll snap some pics if i remember!
