Scott, you done trying to guess the Geico gecko car and the coupé? I can tell you it ain't the gecko car, cause he drives a Jag XK120 or 150 or maybe an MGA (not sure, haven't seen the commercial a while).
Here are a couple more hints, and they are big hints, so all you have to do now is guess the builder. The models are GT-Coupé and D (for the red roadster). The coupé has a Corvair motor and the roadster came with either a VW or Porsche 4 banger (same difference in 1958)

No, wait, this is a trick, your trying to make me give up the make of the two cars I posted. I'll tell you the model is SS, am I right?
Edit nope, my bad. It isn't an SS, it's an Echidnas. Same maker though. All those little monster sports cars from the late 1950 early 1960 look so similar.

yup, 1948 Tatraplan T600
"while complete examples of the Tatra are found in almost every major museum in europe, (the shlumph collection has six), this rare and amazing automobile is virtually unknown in the us. even less known is the fact that the major mechanical theories of the Tatra's construction were plagarized by ferdinand porsche. a little background...
still active today, tatra is a major industrail manufacturer with roots dating back to 1922. the name came from the tatra mountians, overlooking the tatras birthplace, nesseldorf, moravia, later to become czechoslovokia. initially the tatras primary automotive focus was large comercial trucks and limousines, however, this would change in the early 1900's with the engagment of a young, 19 yr old engeneering student, hans ludwinka, now universally recognised as one of the worlds greatest automobile engineers.
ludwinka's inspired concept of a small low priced 'peoples' car, strong enough for the poor roads of eastern europe debuted at the prague motor show in 1923 with the revolutionary and radically designed tatraplan type II, a 2 cylinder opposed air-cooled engine rigidly connected to a tubular back bone with independent swining half axle rear suspension. ludwinka soon followed with the type 57, featuring a 1600cc flat 4 cyl air-cooled rear engine, in a stressed streamlined body. then in late 1932, ludcwinka produced the revolutionary aerodynamic v-570, a 91" wheelbase rear ebngine prototype with features similar to the type II and type 57. a masterpiece of simplicity, this car would attract hitlers attention. an avid admirer of ludwinka's, hitler, in 1933, summoned ludwinka to 2 in-depth technical breifings of the tatra. durring the 2nd session, specific details were formulated for hitlers peoples wagon. subsequently, hitler turned these designes over to ferdinand porsche with the command to produce the V.W. prototype. the similarities between porsche's type 12 & type 32 and ludwinka's designs were more than coincidental.
history shows us that porsche was in regular contact with ludwinka durring 33' and 34'. when porsche's KdF wagon appeared in 1934, almost a direct copy of ludwinkas work, tatra initiated legal action against porsche. hitler intervened, forbidding porsche to settle with tatra, this occurring prior to his invasion of czechsolovakia. a little known fact of porsch history, the legal action was resumed after ww2, and in the 1960's vw ag and porsche quietly settled out of court, paying tatra millions of german DM. unfortunitly, none of this benefited the fathering genius, hans ludwinka. interred after the war for seven years, he died broken and penniless in march 1967....."
