Default Maine, VT, NH GTG say in May or later?

After reading all the post about GTG in ohio and NC and everywhere else except New England I was wondering if anybody was willing to get one together up here. I dont have the resources to do one, but I want to go to one. Anyone have any ideas, Time, place, routes etc.?

Hard to get the Yankees around here interested.

I'm going to try and get a get-together going closer to the date.

We also have to determine the location for the Gathering this year.

If folks are ammeneable I could find out if the Crowne Plaza in Nashua will let us use their parking lot. We can get catering as well. Just a thought.

Since he didn't mention MA, I assume I'm not invited.

He's running, just not back together.
Need to reassemble the front-end bodywork and take to the paint shop.
I'm always up for a GTG. Unfortunately I missed Tom's last fall as I had already pulled the car apart.

Anybody would be invited sorry about the confusion. The more cars that show up the better.

How about a GTG at F1 Boston, either the indoor or outdoor track??? Would be fun to talk cars then race carts! Yes, there is a ulterior motive in that I will not have to drive 2+ hrs from Providence to join in the fun

Cheers,

That was my ulterior motive to have one in NH vs Mass because of distance but since I'm depending on other to people to coordinate the event I guess I really dont have a huge opinion on location. I would love to have one in NH but if it comes down to it and Mass is the only option than that'll have to do. I really want to attend one of these, the Ohio guys seem to have too much fun and its time for us New England 944s to to have the same fun.

Ben

We do have them, usually only during the warmer weather and they are loads of fun. But it is increasingly hard to get people to show.

The "Gathering' brings the most usually. Last years foliage run was pretty good, and I learned some of my lessons so this years should be better.

Also need to crosspost all over the place, and send to the e-mail list for a good turnout.

Thankfully, even when only 3 or 4 people show up it's still loads of fun.

I missed the foliage run last fall I had to work. I just figured that I'd post early in order to get the maximum amount of people interested. Maybe I should have titled the post for late june to july, that way its more in the middle of summer. I think I'm just getting the winter blues of having to drive around a beater for 4 months.

Sid whats the "Gathering" ?

Default New England gathering and help with repairs

Amen! I have been day dreaming of driving my car again! I too have really wanted to participate in one of these events.. though for one reason or another it has never worked out.. I am totally game.

I will pull my car out around May and just have to change the radiator and rear cam seal. This is what prevented my attendance at the fall foliage run last year. By the By: If anyone is interested in helping in my cars' repair, I would be interested in having an "Open Hood" and gladly supply food and BEER. (Catchy word, isn't it).

I don't know how much help I'd be but I'd stop by, I changed the radiator once on my old pontiac.

The weather has been so nice the last week I'm debating on taking my car out sooner, but like they say in maine wait an hour and the weather can turn. So who knows.
