Default Turbo owners: brake fluid heat shield

How many nuts hold this heat shield on? Two on top and one underneath is all I've found.

Just looked in my garage....my car is in pieces. It has four bolts/nuts. One in each corner basically.

which ones have you fond? If I remember correctly, there's one by the firewall at the top, one by the front of the heatsheild on top and aother below it, and one way back underneath on the bottom, back near the firewall. I could be wrong, it's been a while since I've removed it, but maybe have a look.

4 is correct, just put my on today. 1 low one by the firewall, you have to reach up past the exhaust to get to it.....1/4 drive rachet with 10mm. One right at the top of the firewall. The hardest one to get is the one highest and closest to the front of the car, an electrical bundle of wires has to be pushed out of the way. Get it out is fun enough, but man was that a bugger to get started back in.

That was the one I was missing... had a tense moment when I thought I rounded it off with a box end wrench, switched to a socket and U-joint and got it out. Thanks.

So can this be removed with the turbo still bolted in the car? I have the IM off and will have to remove the crossover pipe for my clutch replacement. I want to chrome this piece and hope it can be removed!
