Default Momo/Sparco Horn Button Question.."Porsche Horn Button?"

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2463124262

^--ebay link to momo porsche horn button...

Momo/Sparco horn buttons. Are they interchangeable? IE: If I bought a sparco suede steering wheel, would an older MOMO "Porsche" Horn Button work? Ive heard they are the same size-just wanted some affirmation. Thanks!

While we are here...anyone want to buy a MOMO Top Power wheel? (Red) Leather was cleaned/conditioned often. Used to reside in a Red 930 that was hardly driven. It looks great in a red car, but I want suede wheel after driving my dads auto-x prepped miata that has one.

Thanks!

The MOMO badge will fit. I'm very sure of it since a friend has had one of those Porsche-MOMO horn buttons on both a MOMO and an OMP.

I've seen it stated that Momo & Sparco are interchangeable, but, have never seen it tried in person- I'm pretty sure, though, based on my info- Let's put it this way- I'm sure enough, that if I were wanting to buy one to interchange, I would be willing to risk it, & I really don't have a ton of $- of course, I have been screwed before, but...

Those Porsche horn buttons are real nice, i would like to get one but they are expensive at $50.00. They are also no longer made, all are NOS (new old stock).

I have a MOMO Porsche horn button...from what I hear MOMO doesn't make them anymore so they are expensive...I don't know how true that is, but I really like mine, the quality is great and makes my vintage wheel look sweet

I .love my little Porsche horn button- if only I could press it & get the horn to WORK! I'm still sick- I promise I'll get some interior pics soon though- I'm missing work when I REALLY REALLY NEED the $$$ too...

About the Porsche buttons- I paid $50 for mine ~3yrs ago- probably 1yr before I even bought hte wheel- there is a guy who posts on here, ebay, etc, every now & then, who sells them- he always says they are no longer made & that he only has a few left, etc- I haven't seen him post it in awhile though, so maybe the last time he said it, it was true I have also talked to a few people about them- some have told me that when they bought their wheels, that where they bought them from just offered them to them since they were buying for Porsche's- I've heard this about several dif shops too- one guy had told me that the place he bought his from sent him 3 or 4 of them(!). I think it was Vertex he was talking about- that's where I ended up getting my wheel, but, they said they didn't have any of them when I bought it- it was probably 2yrs after he had bought his though- anyway, just keep your eyes open & maybe you'll run into one- if you do a search for them here, you'll probably find the guy I'm talking about- might be able to reach him & see if he has anymore- I'm not sure what his story is on them & whether or not he really only had such a limited amount, but, he advertised them quite a few times- every other week for a few months at one point- regardless, he sent mine right out (I used Paypal) & I never heard of anyone having probs w/him, so I have no prob dealing w/him again- $50 is a little steep for a horn button, but, there are PLENTY of things we throw our $$$ away for w/these cars that are MUCH worse deals....

Here ya go- it's an OLD one, but, you MIGHT be able to get in touch w/this guy & get set up- this is one of many posts he made on the subject- Bob Zwillman IIRC- he was easy to deal with & never ripped anyone off- sent it out quickly, etc- what more can you ask for?

Robby, i believe 9xAuto (though i know many dislike them) sells them reguarly on there site. They are often on Ebay, atleast one is always up for auction every week. Though they are a bit pricey, i think they would be a nic addition to any interior with an aftermarket wheel.

I thought I would pass this along.

This guy has one left for $44 with shipping included. I just bought the other one. 3 hours left on it. All the others want $55 or are going for much higher.
