Here's mine. I believe I bought the battery and the bracket from Summit. The bracket attaches with 4 sheet metal screws. FYI, the white strip is some adhesive foam for sealing doors on houses that I added to try and keep engine heat out of the compartment where the battery, heater, wiper, etc reside.

Of course, in NZ you will want to rotate everything 180 degrees in order for it to work properly

Unless there is no weight restrictions in your racing class , i don't see what advantage an expensive low amperage lightweight battery
would have as compared to the average Interstate 650 CCA intermediate sized battery.

PCA as well as most other 944 sanctioning bodies restrict the minimum weight for a 2.5 car at 2600 lbs with driver and 2750 for the 2.7 engined cars.
I have to add ballast to my car in order to comply with the weight regulations ...
Funny enough just last week , i was looking at an Odyssey battery for my 911 which was "on sale " at one of my local suppliers and the starting price was $315.00 dollars CDN plus tax.

Just sayin ...

I purchased the top tie-down bracket from local auto parts store and fabricated the J-bolt tie-down brackets

I run a Miata battery. Smaller with plenty of strength to run things reliably. You'll want to make or mod a battery holder to mount it.

I put together this Odyssey mount to make use of the vehicles stock battery mount.
Started with a hold down from Lindsey Racing.
Not sure why the first two photos are rotated.

I don't live in america or canada - we have very different rules here, plus I'm trying to minimise acid sloshing around....

I've got the HC20 left over from my RHD car so I'm trying to utilise it too.

I welded some angle iron (okay, it's not really iron) in to hold things in place.

Im Running the Anti-Gravity.. Made my own mount, What I really like about it is the "Restart" Function... YEP Left my ignition on one time and was Totally DEAD... Lifted the Hood, pushed the restart button on the batt and Fired right up.! That's why theres a hole in the middle of the mount..

Nah the RHD shell was toast, plus had been cut away anyway - the car had a similar setup to what curtisr showed above.
Now I have been given a LHD shell to build up.
