Default 951 Build Goblin Works Garage 8/28 9pm

Just a heads-up, Season 2 Episode 3 on Motor Trend TV might be worth watching.

I record the show. The gal on the show appears to be a pretty good wrench, if its really true and not scripted. British accent and hot.

I like that show as well ... like all British shows , they blend in some typical humor.
Helen pulls her weight in the builds as she can weld and can draw out some pretty nice sketches!

Is this a new season ?

Part I was most interested in, how they’d properly tub the rear arches.... and they didn’t! Paint scheme far from dazzle cammo, Goblin works should’ve taken notes on my rennlist post 2015 on the topic...lol

LOL, good eye, was scrolling to see if I would post that before anybody else saw it.

First time that thing squats, it's gonna slice the rear tires into 4....,

Nash, the man who "purchased" the car owns and runs a 944 specific restoration shop in the UK, and does really top-notch stuff. Apparently he already tubbed the wells after getting the car back to his shop. I wouldn't be surprised if he was involved in the build knowing he would keep the car at the end of it. I'm a bit shocked with the MONSTER wheel spacers. Those things must be at least 3"+ on the rear wheels.

I follow Nash on Instagram, total respect for the work and shop he runs🤘 If his shop was stateside I’d be taking my 944 to him!

Made a comment on his post about the tubs, he responded that he’d be correcting it. In a way he saved this build and will bring out its full potential. Man I love the Gtp Le Mans 944/924!

My issue is more with the show Goblin Garage. Tired of watching half baked ideas, butchered cars and arbitrary deadlines for nonorriginal builds. Makes Gas monkey Garage look half legit...lol

Im @anthem_944 if you’re on Instagram.

I 100% agree. I wish we had Nash stateside! I get so jealous every time he works on a Carerra GT. I also follow him on Instagram and saw your comment.

Your assessment of Goblin Garage is totally accurate. I'm just tired of most build shows in general- none of them seem to actually show the build process and what goes into building a car. Plus the fabricated drama makes me cringe.

Cool will add you on instagram - I'm @d4rks4v4nt

To me I think the whole show was scripted and I wouldn't be surprised if Nash was involved with helping them with the build and completing some of the work for the show, I much prefer watching genuine unscripted builds on youtube by the likes of goonzquad, tavarish etc.... I think the TV shows appeal to a "certain" audience and not 100% petrol heads like most folks on here, you can quickly see the holes and it all falls apart.
