Default Tennessee 944-folks?

Hoping some of you will see this and introduce yourselves...

I will be packing all my stuff and moving to Nashville next week, bringing my perpetual project 944.

I've met Todd up near White House, and have messaged a few others, but wondering who else might be around. Be good to meet the locals...

I'll be up there in a couple/few weeks, more than likely at Hotel Indigo, 3rd and Union, downtown, Printer's Alley area.

Just gonna miss REO Speedwagen at the Ryman.

Would be sooner but have a few transmission side jobs to knock out first.

There's a full bar, lounge and live music at Indigo and Printer's Alley has a few clubs within 100 steps from the hotel door if you guys wanna meet me there.
Bring the wives.

Will bump thread later.

Did Natchez Trace and Blue Ridge Parkway a few times, Clingman's Dome.
Run from Chattanooga to/from Asheville.

Arkansas Scenic 7, Skyline Drive out of Mena over the state line to Oklahoma and Ar Hwy 9 are pretty tough to beat.
I'm coming up in my Merc C250 Turbo Coupe, so yeah, I'll be down.
Have 500 tread wear stock Conti all seasons on it now but been looking at Pirelli 200 tread wear.
Might have to throw those on before I come up there.

Hit me up when you get to town, man. I'm new to the 944 scene but I'm a born and raised Nashvillian... so there's that.

Are you in an area that was hit by the 2010 flood...?

My son and I passed through picking up a 318 ti in Pennsylvania and on the way back, half of one lane was all that was open on interstate and the last thing I remember were rapids running through downtown.

Had been there multiple times before even way back then, Hermitage, Opryland, etc.

I love Tennessee but it's a good ways farther from home for me than Arkansas, so I have been looking at buying a tract there for a getaway cabin.

Hey Spencer, hope you like Nashville. I live about 100 miles from Nashville. Todd is a friend, we have had some 944 meetings at his house. Hope to meet you one day.

Me and my family escaped any damage but I have a client that was at Cornelia Fort Airport next to the river and their office got 7 feet of water. Ruined pretty much everything. Helping them clean up was a nightmare. I was more hit by the '98 tornado in East Nashville.

Find Brent Knoll - he's my 944 connection in Nashville.

If anyone wants, I'm going to be driving the Tail of the Dragon on Wednesday (not in a 944, though... )

Hah, he's the SP1 that punted my son at Barber and got a 13.

On the start no less.

Would have been different if he had been close (was bragging about it being his home track, blah blah) but Eon was 2 seconds a lap faster than him.

Bashed out the 1/4 panel, replaced a ruined brand new tire and he set track record in the enduro with a crippled car.

Had to replace the 1/4 panel.

Probably cost me $2k.
