For those following this saga, I've sold my 1988 Celebration Edition Medallion to Bill for a kingly ransom, I'm gonna retire now.
Sorry to anyone awaiting the re-pops, I'll leave it up to Bill and Mike l if they want to feed the hungry masses!
Coming soon to a concurse (sp on purpose) event near you!

Word of caution, molded reproductions will always be distinguishable from originals. Repos will be slightly smaller due to mold shrinkage. Lots of valuable Civil War buckles have been reproduced and passed off as real. Those in the know pull out a set of calipers and a reference book and start taking measurements first thing. Been there done that.

The purpose of reproducing these was never meant to dupe anyone, it was to give folk that want one a good replica.

Glad that worked out for both, there's no comparison between my 133k mile car and that lovely thing Bill.

That said, I still want the medallion for my pile! If anyone finds one I would love to know about it.

Any chance of having the coin scanned into 3D CAD for CNC machining reproduction?
I can help arrange to have it scanned, CAM, and reproduced on CNC machines instead of die-cast.
Would love to have a real or repro for my 1988 944 as well!

Hello Everyone! I'm picking up a beautiful 1988 944 CE on Sunday and I would also like to find a coin for my car. Was there any progress on these repro's? Or does any one have one they would part with? I'm in Indianapolis.

The years are counting up and I haven't been successful in finding one of these yet. If anyone out there is willing to do a reproduction I am still interested

Hey Ya'll Celebration edition fans.. I could not help noticing this grey 944 interior for sale.
https://rennlist.com/forums/924-931-...ey-carpet.html (post #13)
It looks pretty close to the silver grey carpet in the Celebration cars..
