Default spring time?

well ok i thought i had already posted this but...what im looking for is a set of front race springs that will not only make my 89 ready for auto x but also set the car down 2 or more inches lower. I wanted to find a set of H&R's but i cannot seem to find any companies that offer them, let alone springs for my car. I got onto fast44.com but i have no idea what weight or height or diameter etc. i need for this. Any help is appreciated thanks in advance.

here is the look i want if nothing else...

wayne's car isn't really that low. You can see he is turning to the left in that picture, which makes the car roll right. Rolling right buries the tires up in the fender. If you want your static ride height that low, you'll need about 1000lb rate springs to keep your tires from bottoming out in the fenders.

And if you rode around at that ride height all the time, you'd have broken ball joints in no time.

Dropping the 944 that low takes some serious funds, and does not make the car handle that much better. I figure ~1000 for new reinforced lower control arms, plus whatever springs you want, maby a adjustable ride hight kit from paragon. Then for the rear theres the whole torsion bar issue, ugh, so either loose the torsion bars all together and go with coilovers in the rear, or reindex them AND add coilovers, or just reindex them.

alright, well, maybe not that low, but i dont want that pesky gap between the tire and the wheelwell. I have had lots of cars that were lower than stock, but for some reason this one really needs it! i cant handle the front being high and back being slightly lower at times. I just want alittle bit of rake front to back, if you know what i mean. Nine44 bought some eibachs/weltmeisters and his car looks just as high.
