i saw a guards 944 driving through my town yesterday with its headlight covers painted black. i thought it looked odd from down the road because i had never seen them like that before but when i got close it actually looked kinda neet. I dont think i would do this to my car but whats the group thoughts on this.

my car looks like that now, I have a guards red fender, burgandy bumper, black headlight covers, faded black hood and the rest is black...BTW, I don't like it.

he guy probably just had new coversin the fix the stone chips and just hasn't repainted it yet...

ok. at first i thought the guy actually had the plexiglass pop-up delete lights on the car. Either he did it purposly or just had something happen to the old ones, so he bought new ones and never bothered to paint them.

IMHO, I think the only way different-finished HL covers look good is if they are clear GTS/GTR lenses.
