Cool Which wheels should I get?

I’m trying to decide on a wheel for my S2 if I can’t locate the Kahn RS-R wheels that I want.
Here are a few that I like in no particular order.
Vote for what you think would look best on a Baltic Blue S2/951.
Choice #1 – Factory 993 Cup 17”

Choice #2 – Factory 996/Boxster 17”

Choice #3 – Factory Sport Classic 1 pc. 17”

Choice #4 – Enkei RC5 hollow spoke 18”

Choice #5 – Factory 993 Targa 17”

If you have any other ideas please post them. I'm going to keep my D90's for track/auto-x wheels so these would be purely for street. Cost (as always) is a factor so that rules out HRE/Fiske/Kinesis etc.
Thanks!

Pete I sent you a PM about something related to this (read wheel discount I can get you)....

but out of those choice I like the Enkei wheels because they are the lightest of the bunch, but because these are going to be street wheels I might go with the sport classics I really like the way the multispokes look on our cars......

Thanks Ian, I just got an email with pricing on all of these from Wheel Enhancement. The only ones I can really afford are the ones that nobody has voted for!
Here's the prices:
#1-new $3000 per set
#2- new $2200 per set, used $1000 per set
#3- new $1500 per set (I like these)
#4-new $2550 per set
#5-new $2900 per set
Add $80 for shipping.
I can't believe the 993 Cups are the most expensive.

Another option: Complete Custom Wheels

http://www.ccwheel.com/

<$2000 for a set of 3 piece 17" rims built to your specs. Lots of people on this list who use them heavily in track and street usage. Light and strong.

Do a quick search for pics of them on a 951.

I just wouldn't want to keep those Sport Classic's clean on a daily driver. I voted for the two piece Targa wheels, I do like the look of them-but don't they all come 7" in the front? At least with the 993 cups you can get them in the 968 7.5" front width.

bet you that $3000 quote is for the 7" fronts. I don't want to know what Wheel Enhancement gets for the 7.5's

are those quotes wheels and tires? you could get new Fikse's for ~2400 w/o tires

You're right, 7" fronts on the Targa wheels. I didn't catch that. They're too pricey for me anyway.
The Sport Classics are winning the battle for me. I don't mind a little quality time cleaning the wheels but they would be more work than the 993 cups. The 993 cups do come in a 8" and 9". Thats what Wheel Enhancement priced for me.

Voted for the 993 Cups, this is what I have on my S2. You can do better on the pricing if you don't mind buying used, I've always thought WE's prices were on the high side. As an example, my 993's were only $1K with barely used rubber.

Yeah, 993 Cups are 7's in the front. If you want to go that way they're always available used in good shape, finding the 7.5's in either 993 or 964 (Cup 1's) used is a struggle.

Wheel Enhancement's site lists these sizes for the 993 Cup wheel (choice #1 on the poll)
17" Factory-7", 7 1/2", 8", 9"
17" Replica-7 1/2", 9"
I don't want the replica wheels but I would like to find a good used set of Factory alloys. I'll shop around but I'm not buying until around June.
