Ref: Mark Kibort . I have received copy of the 1986 dayplanner notes
of Porsche Motorsport Team Manager Tom Seabolt.
It has references to my cars (951) arrival from Germany,
Testing days, the Mosport race, and when and to whom the car was sold.
Also he sent me a photo of my car sitting outside P.M.N.A
the day it arrived from Germany prior to Rothmans livery.
Doesnt look like anything special but look closely at entry door to building you can bearly see a small Holbert racing logo by the door.
but if you look closely
There is at least 1 reference, maybe more, to the 928 speed record
car in his notes.

Kevin the car is 90% complete, When I found it in Last July the motor was
on an engin stand luckily in the guys garage, the tranny was in a storage
shed out back. they have not yet been re installed, Motor is Factory
balanced/ blueprinted 250 H.P..
Amaizing as it seems this car was sitting on blocks( with wheels on)
with a cheap desintagrated tarp on it for the last 10 years while not
30 feet away was a one car carport with a bass boat parked
under it?????
Thanks, Sean

Motor is Factorybalanced/ blueprinted 250 H.P.. I was told by seller
motor is OK, He heard a noise and vibration when engaging the clutch and thought the clutch had come apart. When he removed the whole drivetrain (some 10 years ago) he found the clutch was fine...a couple of the teeth on the torque tube had been chewed off were it meets the tranny. He showed me the damaged teeth and pulled out and gave me another
used tourque tube he bought to fix it.
He got bussy and never gt around to putting it back togeather.

Kevin, I wont know the engine condition untill I inspect it and try to fire it.
It has the has some special free flow sweedish stainless steel exhaust
(with no catalist) had the past owner and the guy who last raced it at Mid Ohio tell me it shoots fire out of the exhaust between shifts and With a chip it was close to 300H.P.,

Sean, there is a local fellow here who has a 951 cup car in his (large) Porsche collection. It has that same exhaust and let me tell you it is impressive sounding. I'd be suprised if it didn't shoot flames.

Sean-send a private message to Scott Harrison (SH944 on Rennlist, or go to KCWS.ORG) He has an original cup car hood that has a little damage. He wants to use it on his 951, but you might contact him anyway. There is supposed to be a guy in KC rebuilding one (rumor) no one I know.

Okay- what's in the back? Is there a rear seat? I'm just wondering, since they were trying to save weight, etc- I would think they wold delete the rear seat as well as seatbelts back there, etc....???
