I have used Roadway, $400 from Tn to Cali same on the return trip, this is for a long block.

good question. i have a short block sitting around for sale. its in good shape, $200. if anyone wants it, it's in Stuart, FL.

Any shipper should be able to do it for you. The biggest concern is making sure the motor is packaged well. I've had a few motors shipped across the country without damage. Us a good pallet, good strapping, and lots of shrink wrap.
