Question Anything tricky about installing Recaro SRD's?

Hi all, I just bought a set of Recaro SRD's for my 88 951. They came out of a 993 and I have the sliders and mounting brackets. For some reason I'm under the impression that I will need longer bolts to hold the mounting bracket to the floor. Can anyone confirm if this is true?

Not sure if the SRD's are any different than the Sparco's, but should be very similar. There is a very nice write-up done on the Paragon-products.com site detailing everything very well. I followed it and the results are perfect.

Thanks, I went for broke and installed them today. The factory bolts work so no additional hardware was needed.

I think I got quite the deal. I Paid $500 for the seats, sliders, and mounting brackets. I'll post pictures later today when i get them downloaded.

I got mine for $700 from a local guy who had barely ever used them. I have to say I am very pleased with them. The support is so much better than the stock seats. A friend and I took an hour and 1/2 drive the other weekend and when we got out, it was as if the drive had lasted only a few minutes. Great seats. I would recommend anyone jump on the chance to buy them for their car, even for daily drivers. Although, a word of caution. If you are already struggling to see over the dash, these seats will put you lower in the car as opposed to stock...
