Trade Conquest for N/A?
Hey All,
I want to know what you guys think...I have a 89 Conquest Tsi that I like alot, but found this944 On Ebay Should or keep my Conquest which is faster, has a turbo ( i love boost ) and I already have a 86 N/A. What would you do??

Umm... if you already have a 944, why would you want another?
The dents on the roof of that ebay car look suspicious to me. I got similar ones on mine after crashing it somewhat hard... that car might have been in an accident (=bent chassis)

My mom has been borrowing my 86 na for a loong time now and I might as well let her keep it...and on 944s I prefer silver/black...

Luis, thats what I would do if I had the money. I could sell my Conquest for 3K if I tried but that wouldnt be enough to get a 951 in similar condition. There was a 951 with a salvage title and blown headgasket around here for 3.7K and I offered the guy 2K and he laughed. I then offered to trade my conquest and he said his price was already far too good...

Then I would start saving for the right 951. Great deals on the early ones come up all the time. A low purchase price on the NA doesn't mean you won't be spending money on it. Might as well invest in a different 944 from what you already have.

Yeah. My main fear is that 951s are appriecating.....I have been trying to save but alot of my money goes into helping pay the bills, food, insurance, etc...I'll open up a bank account tommorow to save for a 951

I'd give your mom the Conquest and take the 944 back. 
But since that wasn't one of the options, I'd say keep the Conquest. As was previously pointed out, you already have a 944...

Buy the Silver 944, then E-Bay the Dodge. Nothing better than the present. Your newly created 951 savings account will soon be spent on something else. If the silver 944 goes for under 3K, you could turn it around in a year and make a few thousand. Then you'd have money for a 951.
