Mike, I have reached a point in my life where money is not all that important. When I bought the car, I was less financially fortunate (because I was a stundent). Now, I am lucky enough to not worry about it so much, so to help out someone that is in the situation I was in several years ago (not alot of extra cash lying around but wants a fast car) would make me feel pretty good.

Well, that would be me and a few other guys, but still...your making me cry cause I spent the last of my money on my conquest!!!
What I would do for a car like that
In the rare chance you will have that soon I can come up with the money if I can sell my Conquest and my NA within a week or 2 if i really try

Do you guys think I would be better off selling the car on Ebay, or the dreadful parting out of it? I can imagine the time it would take to part it out, but it would sortof be fun at the same time. It seems like so many trips to UPS would be the main drag. Any thoughts?

dont part it. If I could, that car would be in my driveway right now. but as a student, one 951 keeps my walet light as it is, so not enough money for the initial purchase of the car. I am doing a HG job on mine, and its the first major work I have EVER done on a car, and am excited about learning how to do it myself. I wish I had something like yours to work on. Dont part it, sooo many people, like ME, are DROOLING for that 951. Since I don't have 4100 to top 1988Porsche944 (wow, do I wish I did) I will say he is a good guy to sell the car to, way better then anyone that will buy it on Ebay. Just think of your car wrapped around a tree when some loser who thought he was cool because he bought a 'Porshh' didnt know what he was doing. I , nor almost anyone here, would be like that. If money isn't an issue for you, make sure your car finds a good home. Like my garage, except not mine since I can't pay you much for the car, but if i did have more money, the car would be mine. The job I work doesn't pay that much.

A Plane ticket. Food, hotel, and gas money. Sounds affordable based on the bargain that car is to begin with.
If I had the $4K, I'd fly out there tomorrow and drive it back.

Dave,
I fully agree with Eyal here. PLEASE do not part it off! I'm your target buyer here, a Porsche-loving (and more specifically a 951-loving!) college student. Though I'm looking to buy one, I won't have the money or opportunity to do so until my spring break most likely, which is the first week of March. If somehow my luck changes, and your car is still available then, I'll let you know! But until then, keep that car in one piece and look for a good future P-car owner for that lovely turbo!
Regards
