Default Decreased Throttle Response

944S
I have minimal throttle response while going downhill . This happen in 4th and 5th gear. I go to give it gas and have nothing. If I gear down, higher RPM, I get normal response. If I push in the clutch, it idles back to normal . After coming to a stop it accelerates normally. .

Any thoughts? Vacuum lines appear good. Although that's on the to do list. ISV? Throttle position?

Thanks

Does not happen during uphill acceleration. I did just replace plug wires and found #4 have a loose connection onto plug. I don't think this would cause the above symptom. I haven't had a chance to drive since fixing .

You can usually rule the TPS in or out by going for a drive with it unplugged. It should result in high idle but otherwise the car should drive ok.
