That Euro-spec front bumper...i love it. No huge black bumper pads. Are the lights in the bumper fog or driving lights? Any pictures at night with everything lit up?

Looks like Timm has the euro fog/driving lenses as the aluminum blocking plate in the USA spec driving lens is pretty easy to spot as it is so dull.

That is more or less my car also, I think the all clear front lenses look pretty good on a black car. I would guess Timm got the clear marker lenses from the Swedes or that German guy that did a short run.

Looks like he put in a plain amber 1157 bulb in the forward blinker, he can get a silverized amber bulb if he wants to blend a bit better. Can't see what sort of bulb he has in the side marker due to shot angle.

Default Rear Valence

I see some of you are asking about the rear valence.
That one is available from Van Zweeden it is listed under fiberglass parts for a 924, but it will fit a 944, I am considering installing one on my car.
Along with the euro bumper. I like the looks of it, nice car.

Now, back to the 951's, nice clear lenses on that black one, looks sharp!

Okay, I've contacted the site on page 1 of this thread about giving us a break in the price if we sell 10 or more.

John D, if you're reading this my email to you is on the way.

I wonder if we can save some money by sending them all to my house and then I'll parcel them out to each that ones the lenses.

Any interest?

I got the lenses from Jokam a year ago,I bought a bunch ,I only have some front clear sidemarkers left. The driving lites are euro.I haven't hooked up the inside set yet.

I did use 1157A
bulbs in the front, going to change them to the silver, the sides are 97A bulbs they need to be painted also.

Devon,I think your confused, clear lenses are common on lots of US & IMPORT cars, the LIGHT has to be AMBER! Look around!

Timm, On one of these marker threads I noted that in the USA (I suspect Canada also since they copied most of the US Feds section 108) that you need to have an amber reflector also with a clear marker lens. Sort of defeats the whole point if you are going to stay strictly legal. But I don't think any cops will call you on it as long as you have an amber burning bulb. And that is how I went.

If you get the silverized 1157 ambers you are going to want to steel wool off the silver plating on the back end of the bulb. They pop the turnsignal wattage on those bulbs from 21 to 27 watts but it is still not enough to overcome the filter effects from the amber and chrome. You will see a little amber reflected off the silver reflector but not much. I experimented with this and taking off the chrome up to just before the bulb reaches its maximum diameter seems to work the best.

The sidemarkers are a different problem. Did you find someone that is making an 1155/97 etc. in amber with a silver coating? I have some chrome spray paint I used to paint the white plastic sidemarker housings before I glued the clear lens covers on and thought I would monkey around with that but I don't think it is going to work very well. No one seems to make a translucent silver spray paint and I'm certainly not going to take them to a plating shop to have a light chrome applied. A small order like that would cost $40 for a pair of bulbs and who knows how well it would work.

Devon,I thought you might be joking!

The side bulbs 97A are a painted amber,I haven't found them in silver/chrome.You have to "grease" the lower half & paint them with a high temp paint. If you don't grease it you will steel wool off the painted amber.
