Question

Bought this car four months ago and I´m not quite familiar with the different noses on other 944 models.

Anyone knows how many different "noses" there are on 944´s? Porsche manufactured of course.

I believe the only "noses" were the US- spec N/A, Euro-spec N/A, and the Turbo style nose.

By the way, do you have any more pictures, especially a rear one of your car? Its really cool looking. Love to see some more of it. Neat color and wheels.

First of all, does anyone know if it is illegal to make your front turn signal lights red? Just curious..........
Also, nice car Guran, where'd you get that rear lip? and what wheels are those? aftermarket? if so , which.

yieldsign2, I bought this car 4 months ago, these pictures are from the ad.

I suppose the rear lip is aftermarket, but I don´t have a clue what brand.

The rims are Fondmetal 17 inch
The tires are Sumitumo 235/45/17 in front and 255/40/17 rear.
I cannot recommend Sumitumo because they are very slippery when wet, fun if You are into drifting, terrible when You´re pushing the limits. Will definitely replace the tires in the spring.

Thansk for the info.

My tires suck in the rain as well. of course, i have 3 different brands on.. (was like that when i got it)
One question for anyone in general, as i got in an earlier post, the lug pattern is 5x130 on the 944, i look at the fondmetal site and i dont see any wheels with that lug pattern. am i wrong about the pattern, did they stop producing them, or do you ahve adapters on guran?

(if you'd like to swap for my pd's be my guest). hehe.

yieldsign2, I don´t think there´s any adapters mounted. Have changed to winterwheels a month ago and they fits as well. These wheels are to ugly to be posted here, it´s from a 924T 15 inch but they work well on snow and ice.

The car is a 85b N/A.

Devon, In the USA the front turnsignals and markers MUST shine amber. No red or other color allowed.

To make matters worse you need an amber reflector in the lens to be strictly legal. Take a look at new cars with clear lenses and you will see that amber reflector. But you can probably get away without having the amber reflector and getting an equipment violation ticket. So strictly speaking the Swedes clear lens project is illegal.

Finally I´ve found a reason not to move to the USA.
