Can I turbo charge a N/A?
NOT! I thought the subject for the post would be just about right for my first post here because I am a newbie Anyway just wanted to introduce myself, I have lurked at the forums for about two years now about the same length of time I have owned my 84 944. Hmmmm.... now that I think about it maybe I should have asked some tech question, then upon getting my answer never return here again.......(or about v8 swaps)...

Hey the i think it would be cost effective to put a blower on my car rather than buying a 9K 951 Maybe get 3K out of mine and a S.C. kit is about 3-4K ;cheaper but of course none of the suspension goodies that the 951 has ;i dont know

Yeah, I figured it would be funny saying that right next to my signature, lol. It was a full drop in job, went well. I'm about 95% done, waiting on weather. I need to put my wastegate, exhaust and fule line clamps on. Bleed the brakes and put my dash back in along with a few interior parts. About a good week's work. I didn't go cost effective, I went the fun route.

Well, I gotta admit for some time I went through a want for more power for my 84. I looked at S/c, engine swaps of all sorts and came to a conculsion: At this point in time I would much rather have a nice car then a fast one. So for now my main focus is restoration and hopefully I'll be able to afford a digital cam soon, to upload all sorts of progress pics. Then I'll worry about adding making my car go faster.
