The only problem with those other remedies mentioned is that the air pocket that develops at the rear of the head would be the highest point in the cooling system so if you open the expansion tank or something that might introduce any kind of air in the system it will naturally go to the highest point and be stuck there. So with this particular case I have to give credit to the Lindseys for coming up with the product. You could actually make your own kit by using parts that 99% of hardware stores carry. Once the tube gets inserted into the pivoting fixture at the back of the head I really pulled on that thing hard and it didn't budge. I just used a couple zip ties to keep it secure, low and have it run along the hoses on the firewall and it doesn't get in the way.

According to Lindsey Racing there is. They claim that every head they rebuild they install this kit and since the release of their kit the amount of number 3 and 4 cylinder head gasket melt downs has decreased. That's according to them. I know I will use it on any head that I rebuild.

I forgot to ask, are we talking about the 944 NA or 951?

Duluth no doubt?

Any thoughts on simply capping off the line that was going to the heater core in the event one is planning a delete? Advice appreciated.
