I want to go skiing with my new car. Thule does not make or stock the fit kit for the 944 anymore. The fit kit attaches to the door frame and then to the Aero 400 bar holder. If you have the Thule Fit Kit 034 I will buy it from you for $25.00? and pay shipping.

Good luck. There used to be a factory rack on ebay from time to time, but not recently that I've seen.

In the UK the Rover 416 (J-reg) fits the 944, and as its an old rover there cheap as chips.

First off, they should still be stocking the Thule kit: I picked one up this past summer, so I can bring my track tires to the DE events. Who told you they don't have them anymore?

Second, they are a little more than $25.00: IIRC, the price was around $50 - 75.

Check with a good ski shop: they should be able to place an order.

I was buying one new from REI. They charged me $48. They shipped one for an old Volvo and tried to reorder directly from Thule and told me they don't stock anymore. The kid at REI must have been blowing me off.
I was offering 25 for used.

Yeah, you missed the big ski rack give away.

Sun Coast had a bunch of OEM Porsche rakes that went dutch for $50-100 bucks in less than a week. I got mine for $75 and had I waited 2 days longer could have paid $50. I can't believe the last ones went cheap.

Hell I coulda bought a bunch and saved them for ebay later...LMAO
