Default Measurements of the cometic 103mm bore mls gasket

Hi all. I have a hybrid 2.85l engine and am planning to use the 103mm cometic head gasket. My bore is 102.3mm but I have an oringed head. The oring is about 10 mm. My question is the size of the sealign surfaces on the 103mm gasket. I am concerned it will interfere with the oring. I am removing the stainless oring and planned to use a soft copper wire to minimize it's effect.
do you have measurements of the sealig area between cylinders on this gasket? I was hoping to check before ordering so I wouldn't have an issue and need to return it.
Thanks
Steven

not sure how cometic does it but oftentimes the actual gasket bore is 1-2mm larger than the specified cylinder bore. this keeps the sealing ring slightly out of the "line of fire".
so your 103mm bore gasket might actually have a 104 or 105mm hole in it.
call cometic...

I called Cometic but they didn't have the spec offhand for the gaset with related sealing ring areas. But you're right, the standard gasket was 2mm larger than the cylinder diameter
