Default Unusual 931 Convertible Body Conversion (DE eBay)

Anyone know who did the conversion for this 931 Convertible?

Here’s the eBay auction with more pictures and documents which are in German Porsche 924 Convertible.

The link is not working for me. The karmann ghia-esque lack of panel gaps is an interesting touch. Someone clearly put a lot of effort into it, for better or for worse, I won't say.

Can't tell from the paperwork if it is Prechters (ASC) handiwork.

Unlikely unless it was done by their custom shop, iirc Prechter only started to work on Porsche in the late 80’s.

There is/was a company called Bieber Cabrio and it is made by this company, they offered kits for 924/944. But the missing gaps etc is owners "flash of genus".

Good call, it could well be Bieber Cabrio with added “styling” though it does seem like Bieber used to blend their panels into the body. Here’s what I found on the company and their work.

I actually kinda like it (doesn't mean I would own or drive it, but it is unique). I like it a little less after I looked at the engine bay photo though.

Goes to show that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Some people might think that the CGT flares on the rear quarters of a 924 look unfinished and just tacked on there.
