What is color code of Celebration Edition 16" teledials from 1988 model year?
I am going to repaint my 16" teledials wheels , I want to paint them in original color of my wheels. What is the color code of the silver teledials? Do you have any specs of the color so I can easily buy it?

I believe they are Zermatt silver, but have never researched this before. ( I am sweating doing this on mine, as they are all original paint yet and just starting to yellow-off a bit in shading. )
Take the code for Zermatt to a qualified paint seller along with your wheel, with the tire dismounted. They can take the paint color 'photo' with a paint color digital analyzer camera, compare to the Zermatt color chip on their paint card samples and do a comparison. They may have to image sample from inside the wheel on the barrel to get a good color origin.
I believe the Polar silver for these wheels is too bright.
By the way it should be the same color as on all phone dials which came on regular production 911, 924, 944, 951, and 928. ( just not the optional lightweight magnesium wheels which were a type of pearl white. )
Also, am sure you are aware of this, but the wheels that came on Jubilee/Celebration cars were all 16 inchers. And came staggered with 7" on front and 8's on the rear. Hate to see you get them all finished up and have the wrong rims on it. ( it's happened. )

They're definitely not Zermatt Silver. Half the CE cars were Zermatt and from the pics I've seen, the wheels have never matched the paint on the car. On my old CE (Satin Black, not Zermatt), the wheels were the same color as my 86's wheels so I'm not sure they were ever a 'special' color.

By the description, sounds like this is the correct shade of silver ^^^^^. When you get the right color code, would you show us pics or share with us the description of that paint code ? I just went out in my garage and looked at my '84 Zermatt 944 which is sitting right beside my Satin black metallic '88 Jubilee with it's original silver painted phone dials, and the colors ARE different.
The shade is close, but the silver wheels have a lighter pigmentation than the car body's Zermatt.
