Id hate to know how much magnesium LMs cost. If you have to ask you probably cant afford it right.

Im gonna put the first vote in for cookie cutters.

LM in an 18 runs about 750 per wheel. Not sure about the Mg as I have never seen them sold.

Cookie cutters are EVIL. I never warmed up to them.

I agree its not the best, but it does show some pictures of the wheels. It does have prices on the Formula GTs and the Daytonas.

I don't know how they would look on a 944 but many of you have seen them on the GT3-R's and my buddy just picked up a used set from a local race team... (the only way the public can get them is second hand) These rims are not available at your local dealer... They have Magnesium Centers and my buddies weigh about 18LBS in 17's... 3 Piece design means that you have to have them assembled professionally, but they are the coolest rims because of all of this, that i have ever seen.... BBS GT2's...

My buddy just had his centers powdercoated black to go on his bright red bimmer... They look like LM's but have much more shape to them... you can't really tell from straight on, but they are awesome rims...

Jonas - that is really not that great in terms of weight unless they are like 17X13. Looks like a standard LM with a Mg center. I am sure a BBS dealer (A real one not T.R.) can get you the centers. Any idea how much he paid?

How about some BBS 3-piece wheels?

I can't believe the mag. centers don't result in a lighter wheel? My 17x10.5/11.5" BBS 3-pc. wheels weight 17.5/18.5-lbs each with valve-stems. But then again, mag. and aluminum have roughly the same weight-to-strength ratio, so equal-strength wheels would end up weighing the same.

DanD also has some neat Gotti wheels on his red car (sorry I don't have any other pics).:

Volk makes a Japanese-only version of their already super-light TE-37 in forged titanium. Supposedly weighs about 8-lbs eac! Cost... $2500 EACH !!!

Here's my 951. It has 18" Mak Force wheels, similar to Sami's 951

Tires are 225/40 & 265/35.

From the pic they look a lot like Fikse FM-10s, as well.

oh ,
I was kinda thinking of getting a set of those, and sell my current wheels.
But I haven't thought of their weight.
I better check that, before buying.

Yes.. definitely check on the weight cause they're _HOT_ ;D

I'm partial to Cup 2s and Turbo Twists / Cup 3s. Very similar to what you posted above Tommy....

Beautiful rims on your car right now too

Cheers,
sach
