That pic is my current desktop right now.
The original that I have is 1157 x 613 and 82.1KB. Is that ok? If so, give me your email and I'll send it. I'm on a dial up and it may take awhile.

pete, i have longed for those wheels for quite a while as well. they are, by far, the best wheels i have seen on any car. i know there are plenty of 5 spoke wheels out there but these are just miles away. one thing, do you not mind that they are 26lbs each?

I knew they were heavy. I'll keep the D90's around for auto-x and the like. In a year or two I'm gonna do a turbo conversion on this car so at that point I probably won't mind.

Here's a question (or two):

how much do Fuchs actually weigh?
and, how much do modern Porsche wheels weigh?

I think the Fuchs are 15-16lb. Thats incredibly light. A good 1-3lb less than most. Strong as hell too. I got an extra set of 7s and 9s but as Charlton Heston says, "from my cold dead hands!"

my 16x7 fuchs weighed about 15lbs. (not including tyre) very light.

This thread ROCKS. I love seeing all these awsome 951s with cool wheels. Danno your pics especially are awsome.

Now, one thing. With some of these wheels that expose your brakes - you gotta get a big brake kit. I mean with wheels like Cup1's and those awsome 5 spokes 944pete posted, you gotta have some serious rotor and caliper action going on behind the wheels. Otherwise it makes your brakes look puny.

My RUFs are not my favorite wheels but they will just have to do until I get those BBS LM's....

some of the early outlaw 356's have been using spare 15x6 and 15x5.5 wheels from other newer porsche models.

personally i think these would look kinda cool on an early flat sided (no fender flares) 912.. kinda like a hot rod out-law feel.

just wondering, which porsche model did this spare wheel originally come with? anyone have a part number if they by chance have one of these?

That's a pretty cool idea. Talk about a cheep upgrade too! They look pretty nice IMHO.

EDIT: BTW, isn't that just a 944 wheel? or were the hubs different sizes? No idea what the bolt spacing on a 356 is.

I've had the stock PD's boxster twists and now the ones in my avatar I love em to death. They make a version with center caps as well. I really dig the wheels on DFastest's car too. Ohh yeah mine are forgeline rsr's
