Tommy already posted a pic of these wheels, but here's a different twist ![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I've been playing with the idea of painting the centers to match the car, leaving the outer edge polished. What do you think? Here's a poor photoshop... I can't make up my mind, but I feel like it could work...

I Like!!. Color matched rims look cool. I'm thinking of doing something similar with my red. I'm not convinced it looks as good with brighter colors. The gray looks nice and clean.

Sami-
Im going to be a dissenting vote. I like the color contrast the way the rims are with the paint. My own opinion is color matching rims works well with bright colored cars but not so well with darker colored cars because the dark rims blend in too easily with the tire, making it hard to distinguish things. Keeping the lip as-is helps, but if anything, I might paint the rims a lighter or darker shade. Perhaps stone grey or just black altogether. Graphite is so dark anyway that some people mistake it for black, which is why Id see what it looks like with a slightly different shade on the rims, so the graphite stands out more and you can really tell its not black.
But what the hell do I know. I think the photoshop looks good mind you, but I think I prefer the stock way if it was just a choice of one or the other.
I really want to see what those rims would look like black with the lip still polished and showing. I think you may be surprised!

im giving a thumbs down also... I think that polished wheels look better then painted, but thats just my opinion. Whe the wheels are black you cant really see them well, but when they are polished they really stand out, especially on a black car.

Would somebody photochop Samis rims and turn them black for me but keep the polished lips? I think the black of the rims will really show off the slightly different color of the paint well.

Are those Mak Spirit wheels you got there ?
What is the offset & the cause of the wheels ?
Do you need to add spacer to them ?
Thanks

What do you think? Admittedly a bad photochop, but I like it how the black rims play off the black rubber and molding and let the paint contrast with everything. Gotta keep the polished lips no matter what you do.
