Default shift ****

hey, my gear shift lever is pretty loose and messed up so i'm replacing it with a new stock one. anyway, i was wondering where to get a new shift **** 2 put on top of the lever. i know where to get a new shift boot because i need one of those as well but where to get the stock **** eludes me...thanks.

I sold one of those last year, just the ****, no boot, for $40 I think. I see them on all the time. Just keep an eye out, they might fetch more nowadays.

Are you SURE you need the ****? Not just the lever or rubber parts??

you know, just thinking it over again, i don't really need a new **** if i can take off the old one properly. except i have no idea because it's on there super tight. if i could get it off all i would have to do is replace the boot. any ideas?

Lift up the boot and pop the clip off the ****, Pull the **** off the lever, take the shift pattern off (carefull!) and the leather just comes off.
