924 Buying Advice

make sure to use the right power steering fluid (ATF, Dexron I believe NOT power steering fluid!, should be red)
some delete the power steering, ours ('87 924s) works but leaks from somewhere, doesn't feel heavy to me at all, check tire pressure
Your's looks great. Ours was a wreck, getting there now. The dash caps actually seem to work quite well, we have one, the original dash is a complete mess, the cap is hard to even notice, We have one like this:

Not sure it's the same brand as it came with the car but fit is perfect and fixing existing it is extremely difficult to do well, for $130ish I sure wouldn't bother. FWIW

It's almost like if its *not* leaking there's something weird going on. Thankfully they're not too complex. You can probably top off the fluid (requires Dexron ATF) and get it feeling normal again for a few months and buy you a little bit of time to check it out for real.

...I heard about the driving position and to be honest i think its nonsense..nothing changed from the first 924 to the last 968 in terms of driving position...what are you refering to? The bodies are identical..and so is the seat position and size and steering position....
Next time you get the opportunity to compare them, give it a go and you’ll see what I mean.
