FOUR THOUSAND DOLLARS for a timing belt+WP job?
You could pay me to do it, with parts, and buy my airfare to Seattle for less than half of that...![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
That said, a 968 has a 60,000 mile belt interval - so a 2012 belt is "still good"...

Called around and got some better quotes in the sub-$2000 range. I was quite shocked at that $4k each as well, as I know the shop and have been taking my 924S there for a long time (although it's been a while)
In the end, I did wind up buying it this morning. $9780 was the lowest they would go, and they didn't make much on the car. I saw the wholesale paperwork from their purchase.

Congrats, it'll be a bit of a mountain to climb to get the car sorted, but it's all very manageable work and it's a good looking car so you'll have a great car in the end.
