Just saw a stuck Boxster on NBC local news.

My 951 did an awesome job in the slop!

Only time I've ever gotten my 944 stuck was in the school parking lot. I parked on some ice & the only way out was to back out, uphill, with the rear tires sitting on about 1" of solid ice, with all season tires. Wasn't fun.

I'd like to think I'm a rather good driver. I'm 32 and have never been
an an accident where I was the cause.

Today I slid right up to the bumper of a 2002 Caddy because
the lady driving stopped about 10' short of the white line, the second
the yellow turn arrow hit.

Down hill in the rain, PO's snow tires....

It scared the crap out of me, but I kept her stright and stopped inches
to spare.

It's a good thing most of the snow past by here....I think I'm walking the
rest of the winter. LOL

Tom,

My 951 with S03's in the snow scared the hell outta me!
Snow tires are the best! (Unless the ground is dry )

Jetta did just fine, the 944 never left the garage. The 911 normally does very well, but at this point, I see no reason to take it out...

I did finally clear the snow off of it, though...

Dan, I saw the same show, and was wondering if it was someone here as well.
