Default door sill interior trim removal?

I'm want to route some stereo wires under the carpet.
Looking to remove this black plastic trim on the lower edge of the door opening. Is there any best way to remove this (before i just start pulling on it)? Thank you.

just pull it up...hard

it just has little spring clips on the bottom side that grip the door sill.
it pops off, and you just tap it back on when done

They're pretty prone to cracking, so be a little careful and try not to lever on the trim too much. Pulling straight up is your best bet.

They also snap going back on. It's really bad when you snap the replacements from Lart.

Treat them like glass.

You gotta pull up hard but don't try to pull up each clip all the way before moving on. Start at one end and get it moving, move down a ways and get that up a bit and when you get to the end, start back at the beginning pulling it up just a bit more. If you try to get one end all the way up before moving onto the next clip, it will break. Same for putting it back on. It's the only way to get them on and off in one piece. And whatever you do, don't try doing it when it's cold. The warmer, the better.

Audi,

Just don't be alarmed if the sill cracks when you pull it up. Ask me how I know... They're about $75.00 from your local friendly P-dealer.

Thanks for the advice everyone. Came off quite easily by pulling up a little at a time along its length.
