If you can wait a few weeks, I have the stock airbox I wont be using, I will also have an AFM. I need to put the car back together soon and test it with the stock stuff before I install the MAF, etc. want to make sure it runs before screwing with the aftermarket stuff.

I would get the allen in a socket form. It is a 6 IIRC. Hope and pray that the last guy didnt loctite it and tighten to 500 ft/lbs like mine did, the it takes extractors and lots of hands along with a good hammer.

I just did mine today...
You will need new intake manifold gaskets and Its best to have all the idle air velve hoses, vac lines etc befor you start.
I ended updating to remove the venuri mess and simplify.
At the min...you will need 4 of the intake gaskets, dont start till you have these.

sorry. no pics. Sach, if you do a search on intake, you will find lots of info.
Basicly, there are a couple of hoses you can buy that connects one port on the intake directly to the manifold while the other port goes to the Idle air valve then to the intercooler tube. This gets rid of the venturi tube, a 'Y' connector and its tubing. A lot of us also disconnect the cycle valve and run a manual boost controller thus eliminating more of the leak prone stuff under the intake.
Heres a diagram of the update with a manual boost controller
